Principled Leadership

Always look for opportunities to speak “Kind Words.”
Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. Proverbs 16:24
Workers, friends, and family will always be blessed and benefited by kind words. Plus, as a principled leader the speaking of kind words will elevate you as a person that really cares about others.
What type of a reputation do you want to have with others in the market place, ministry, or at home? If you spend the time to identify people who need and would benefit from a kind word, it will not go un-noticed. Even identifying servers in a restaurant and extending them a kind word will potentially change the trajectory of their day or life. This is a practice that will set you apart from others.
I recently was having a discussion with my son-in-law and he told me a story about a national leader that was very successful. His family would most likely be blessed financially for generations to come. He related to me that this leader was known for the practice of speaking kind words to workers at home and in the market place. But he also told me that this leader, made it a practice to teach each of his children to bless and speak kind words to others. Wow, what a multi-generational impact this will have on that family and be multiplied to countless others.
